The Seattle Kraken announced Tuesday morning that they’ve extended forward Jared McCann to a five-year, $25 million extension.
McCann, 25, has 33 points (21-12-33) in 55 games-played for the Kraken this season. With 188 points throughout his 400+ NHL games, he’s certainly cashing in on his recent offensive-outburst this season.

On his fourth team since entering the league in 2015, Mccann is making himself at home with the Kraken.
While the former Soo Greyhound forward was a name that had been floating around the trade-deadline rumour mill, the opportunity to stay in Seattle was a no-brainer for McCann.
This marks the first extension in Seattle Kraken’s team-history.
